Lesson Times *

Lesson times are reserved in weekly 1-hour slots and are presumed to take place at the student’s residence. During the summer, lessons are done on a bi-weekly basis.

Makeup Lessons *

In the event of a foreseeable absence, I ask for 24 hours’ notice. If notice is given before 24 hours’ time, you are entitled to a makeup lesson. Makeup lessons may be made up in the form of extra lessons or as additive time onto lessons (a single 2-hour lesson, or two 1.5-hour lessons, etc). Makeups are non-transferable and expire at the end of the payment period. Lessons cancelled without prior notice or within 24 hours of the lesson are forfeit and must be paid as usual. If for whatever reason I must cancel a lesson, you are entitled to a makeup lesson that will not count against your total for the payment period. These makeups will only expire a year from the date of the missed lesson.

Holidays *

Holidays that are observed include: Christmas break (21st Dec 2019 - 5th Jan 2020) Easter Weekend (Apr 10 – Apr 13 2020) March Break (14th Mar - 22nd Mar 2020) These are defined as per the Ontario Ministry of Education designated holidays as well as weekends. During this point, lessons are cancelled and payment is not due.
